Looks like we are making a good impact 😀 It's nice to read good news for a change rather than complaints about costs etc :thumbsup:

Went to a Nursery manager's cluster meeting today and they said that they had had feedback from reception teachers saying that other than children with special education needs, the majority of children in reception had achieved the appropriate scores in their baseline assessments. :thumbsup:

And what is more important is that the Foundation Stage Profile is working very well in assessing children at age 5....so why remove it and introduce The Baseline Assessment? If it is working why replace it?
A couple of teachers were sending cryptic replies on this announcement....I must find out more!
