Funded hours question

If you sign up with your LA to do funded hours do you still pick and choose your clients as you would normally or do you have to take anyone the council send your way as part of being in their scheme?

You still choose, it is your home and your business. When I was on the scheme, I was never approached by LA to take anyone on specifically.

Once registered you can offer it to your current children when they are age appropriate and, hopefully, they will stay till they start school. Plus it is also a big selling point when you advertise. I've never been approached by my LA either.

I get approached by the children's centre for funded 2 yr olds, but it's always up to me if i take them or not.
