I have a potential customer but have some concerns (unfounded I must say) about them, I'm wondering whether to go with my gut instinct and say no or whether to proceed and see how they are. Anyone been in a similar situation?

A lot of cms on here say go on gut... I tend to go by gut. It you can make sure you have a long settling in period of 4 - 6 weeks where you can terminate at any time if it not working out

I always go with gut, say another family want to extend days etc.

I always go with my gut. The one time I didn't it turned out my instinct was right and I ended up terminating the contract. Always go with your gut feeling

You can go with gut- only if you financially can ride the spaces! Are you having enough interest to think that this family could be overlooked? Perhaps a settling period to see if your gut instinct is founded if you are short of interest??

Ive not always been able to afford to rely on my gut instinct. the bank manager doesn't much care if If the fees come from a lovely family or one I find a little harder to work with.
