A useful U-turn by the DfE?

I think it makes sense at this point to have an exit expectancy as this has been a recent initiative but I really think that at some point it needs to be entry...a discussion around colleagues who dispair of the local childcare courses who did not require the basic level of qualification, a lot of students did not work at school under the knowledge that they would get on the course anyway. This was vital education needed for the future....and lost.

I must admit I do agree FloraDora.

Surely childcare needs to be moving away from the image oh not going to get your maths and English gcses then go into childcare.
