Looking to get a second high chair that is cheap, plastic (all wipe clean) and folds down. Any recommendations? Thank you :-)

I use the IKEA one (forget it's name) about £17 it's simple, very easy to clean, doesn't fold but you can take it to pieces.

Social services are making us change to 5 point harness high chairs as they are safer.

Unless I have a very young baby I don't use highchairs. I do have one of the Ikea ones but after about 9mths I tend to use booster seats at the table, so much easier to use and store IMO.

Same here :-)
... or we all sit on little chairs at the little table. As I like children to be able to sit up with their feet on the floor. But it does depend on the mix of children as to where we sit and when!

I have a mothercare one that folds flat for younger children I picked it up for £10 from eBay but once they can I like them to be at table in boosters or the little tables with stools (I have read it's better for posture , I agree as in the chairs most kids I've looked after tend to slouch!

Thanks natlou is this the 'Antilop' one? That's the one Id like, how easy and quick is it to dismantle?

Yes it is the antilop one. It basically has a chair in one solid piece which you can attach a tray to and 4 detachable metal legs. It is very quick and simple :-)

The ones I have are very similar to these. They are height adjustable and fold up easily for storage. I can't find the exact ones I have, they are quite old so probably not made anymore.

I have never used a high chair because I like babies to sit at the table with all other children
If you have child size table and chair you could look at buying the inflatable booster seat that is attached to the child's chair....very safe if you put the chair against the wall
It deflates and folds into a small bag you carry around as it has a handle....best equipment so far!
