Thank you Sarah for sharing these fantastic ideas. Sensory play is my personal favourite and I'm always looking out for new ideas :-)

Thankyou for sharing this Sarah.
I have a herb garden at the front of my home with a lavendar border but have never had huge success with the lavendar play doh - could you signpost me to one that you use?? Do you use lavendar oil / water or actual lavendar??

I always use Imagination Tree for my recipes and they work well :D Lavender Play Dough Recipe - The Imagination Tree (http://theimaginationtree.com/2011/10/lavender-play-dough.html)

My lilac trees are in full bloom at the moment - the blossoms make the most amazing scented playdough.

I use lavender from the garden and lavender seeds which I bought - both in the same batch of play doh. You do need quite a lot
