Registering with assistants

I am looking to register and have 2 assistants. Can I register from the outset as a childminder with 1 or 2 assistants? I have 2 of my own children under 5, so I would like to have at least one assistant and take on more children.

Also, could my hubby be one of my assistants? Or would he need to register as a childminder himself?

Yes, you can register with assistants and yes your husband can be your assistant.
When I registered as a CMer I registered my husband as my assistant at the same time.
