Hi everyone!

I gave up CM a couple of months ago and I'll be starting a new job on Monday.

I was just wondering what happens with regarding going from self employed to employed and the tax you pay??

Is there anything I need to do?

Your HR department should sort you out with a tax code for PAYE.

You may get a letter from HMRC telling you that you need to do a self-assessment. I'm not sure whether they're just a bit slow on the uptake or maybe self-employment is like the mafia: you can join, but you can never leave while you still draw breath. :rolleyes:
