As you will hopefully know by now there is new EU legislation from tomorrow (13th Dec) which states that, if we provide food for children, we have to be able to inform parents (if they ask us) what is in the food.
I have written a NEW blog with advice and further information if you have decided you are no longer providing food - Sarah's Blog: Childminders and food allergy legislation (http://knutsfordchildminding.blogspot.co.uk/2014/12/childminders-and-food-allergy.html)
You will find lots of links and advice in Childminding Forum free downloads here - Food and Allergies Guidance (http://www.childmindinghelp.co.uk/freeresources/Free%20downloads/food-and-allergies.html)
We have shared information from the FSA here - http://www.childmindinghelp.co.uk/forum/general-childminding-chat/133377-food-standards-agency-advice.html.
There is free training with a certificate at the end here - Food Standards Agency - Home (http://allergytraining.food.gov.uk/english/).
If the Childminding Forum can support you in any other ways, please let us know. Thank you :D
