Do you still have to be a registered CM to be an assistant?

In September 2016 I want to stop CM in my own home, but wouldn't mind becoming an assistant for another CM. Maybe helping out and doing school runs. Do I still have to have my registration, or do they register me? Thanks :)

You won't need to keep your registration. The CM will get a DBS for her setting for you to work with her. Unless you want to work as a CM with another in her setting?

You will need to be registered with DBS / DBS update / EY2 for the new provision :D
