Oh no, that's not going to help your nerves!! Nevermind, just use the time to go through things one last time and then try to relax so your brain's not too overloaded. The pre-reg Inspector that I had was very nice. I don't mean that she was a push over because she wasn't by any means and the inspection was very intense. However, the Inspector put me at ease and was very 'human' so I didn't feel she was trying to 'catch me out' at all! Good luck for Friday!!

Hi, it does makes me wonder how 'spotless' the Inspectors' houses are!! Most likely nowhere near as clean and tidy as that of a pre-reg visit Childminder applicant!! Good luck - you will be fine.

Ha ha, mine gave me a window of 0900-0930 for arrival and arrived dead on 0930 by which time I'd convinced myself I'd got the wrong day. I would have been gutted because I'd been up since the crack of dawn doing the 'spotless' thing!! I'm sure by time you read this it will all be over and you will be recommended - fingers crossed for you!!

Thankyou so much.she was really good and very nice...she just basically asked about myself to get a better idea of what type of person I was..and then she moved on to EYFS which was a Doddle and then looked around the house..she was even complimenting our house on the size and how nice it was and she said we could even be a nursery it's that big space wise. Then we spoke about safeguarding and welfare which was easy.and also bout the next inspection and what I need to have in place when they get in touch hurestic is a biggy.xx

Look online it has a variation of different baskets but it's a must in your inspection when being observed with children.x

Hurestic is like a treasure basket with sensory things and things like flannels, sponges, brushes, wooden spoons, different materials that have different textures and feelings and colours xx
