I keep my policies seperate. I have a EYFS file for each of my mindees. hth

EYFS is a big umbrella... it covers policies, procedures, risk assessments, resources, contracts, your welcome pack, play spaces...

EVERYTHING you do is covered by EYFS because it is the Law you work under.

So, when you write a new policy, you look at EYFS and decide if the wording in eyfs says you should do it one way or another... when you take on a new child, you look at EYFS and it tells you the questions you MUST and SHOULD ask the parents and things you MUST and SHOULD tell them... when you go on an outing, it tells you what you MUST and SHOULD do to keep children safe ...

It's like your recipe book... the minimum work you have to do or else the cake goes flat! :D
