2 year progress check

quick question, if anyone can help.

I have a child 2yr 8mths starting with me next week, she is only with me for a few months before she goes to her pre school the term after she turns three. she had her two yr check with her hv about 4 weeks ago.

No other childcare profession has done a 2yr progress check with her. Will this be my responsibility to make sure I write a 2yr progress check before her third birthday?

Yes it is up to you and it has to be done as stated in the EYFS but if you haven't had her long and you don't have any reservations about her development, leave it until you know more about her and if it is closer to 3 then so be it. You can't write what you don't know :)
