safeguarding??

Hi all, can someone shed some light please- is it actually a statutory requirement that we update our safeguarding training every X amount of years? I cannot see it anywhere in the EYFS that states we do, but is there something I'm missing? Thanks

I think it is more of a 'recommendation' and your LA may have requirements or 'advice' too. I think it is important to at least go on a refresher course as things change, procedures and guidance change, local contact numbers and details change etc
