vomitting.....when to send home?

8 month old baby had bottle this morning, then refused more than 2 spoons of porridge, 5 mins later brought bottle back up. Doesnt seem ill. Hasnt been sick since but not keen on eating or drinking. Would you send home? I'm going on holiday on sunday!!!!!

Very hard to tell with babies hope Lo is ok now and it's just a baby vomit!

Hi hope rest of your day better, I personally would see how they are for a few hours, are they joinging in etc, if they develop temp or still not taking bottle or food would then send home

thanks all, she had a feed here at 4.15 yesterday, then refused feed at home, so her feed here was first in 16hours!!!! guess her tummy just couldnt cope. Gave her lunch very very slowly, then she slept all afternoon so all is well.

I am sending home at the first vomit, am taking no chances as you can't tell why they have been sick. I've warned all parents I will be doing this x
