I'm struggling with making a business card; I need a name.

I know I should probably go for 'Vicki's Childminding', but I really fancy being 'Vick's Chicks'... Or possibly 'Vick's Chicks Childminding', with little line drawings of baby chicks etc... Is it too cheesy? Is it too off putting for boys, older kids?

Which do you prefer? Any thoughts please?:)

I like vicks chicks although as you say older children might take that as Vicks girls.
It will look cute on your business card with little chick pictures.

Sorry, it is difficult finding a name but I personally would not go for something that has 2 meanings. The idea that children are young linked with chicks plus it rhymes with your name sounds good but because it is also slang for girl/ woman I would steer clear.

Or a 'dating' agency!!

Honest answer? My first thought was, "great name for an escort agency". :D

Confession:

I just Googled Vick's Chicks, half expecting to find links to what we used to refer to euphemistically as a "massage parlour" :p

.......not sure if I was relieved or disappointed to find links to a Tennessee poultry farm instead.

TBH, my opinion is well worth ignoring in the matter of business names. I've yet to see many CM business names which don't strike me as cheesy.

On a similar note, why are all hairdressers, florists, pet shops and poodle parlours owned by people who think their naff puns are intelligent, witty and funny?
They aren't.

Thanks for everyone's comments, they are really helpful.
I will carry on thinking. Or possibly use 'Vick's Chicks Childminding' with the 'Childminding' in big letters!
