Oh my goodness, I've just discovered my first inspection report on the OFSTED website.

My hands are shaking and I had to try very hard not to cry whilst reading it!

Hope I'm allowed to post a link for you all to see it.

I wasn't expecting it to be there today, thought I'd get it in the post first.

After the last 2 days it was wonderful to discover it this morning. My son got rushed to hospital with possible appendicitis on Monday evening and on the way to theatre yesterday morning they stopped to do a chest x-ray and discovered he had silent pneumonia instead.

Seeing the report today has really cheered me up. If I wasn't so tired and DS2 so poorly I'd have suggested going out for another meal tonight to celebrate.......maybe we'll do it another day!

I'm SO sorry Lucy! I didn't read about your son, I just went straight to your inspection report! I feel really bad now!!!! :( What a worry, hope your son is on the mend now. How old is he? My son had pneumonia when he was in his 20's.

They let him home last night after a few doses of IV antibiotics.

He's doing ok, very pale and sleepy.

He's on the sofa with his duvet, enjoying all the attention!

I've just dosed him up with 2 x antibiotics, calpol and brufen so he'll probably fall asleep again soon!

I keep reading the report again and again!

I think I made the postman laugh this morning as I had to sign for the letter with my report in. I knew what it was so I was dancing around the hall!

Fortunatly the postie is a good friend of mine so he knows what I'm like!

Oh and Barnaby has had a sleep, a nibble of lunch and is sat on the sofa like "Lord Muck" demanding toys to be passed to him! He's still a bit wobbly on his legs so I don't mind too much.
