I need a new book display. My playroom is also my family's sitting room and I was thinking that this wooden one might look nice:

Childrens Bookcase - Kids bookshelves and book displays (http://www.tidy-books.co.uk/catalog/product/view/id/39/s/childrens-bookcase/category/88/?colour=White)

BUT I'm wondering if the middle shelves are a little too small for some books, and for toddlers to use easily. So, I'm thinking maybe a wire book rack might be better. Either one that's fixed to the wall, or a free-standing one that could be put away when mindees aren't here - although I probably wouldn't get around to that.

Comments on the wooden bookcase, or recommendations for particular book racks/ places to buy them would be brilliant, thank you. :)

My friend has the alphabet one on her wall and it looks great and the children seem to have no problems accessing.

I have a shelving unit but I have too many books on it so I am looking for other solutions. I don't have any wall space for this type or the wire ones. I was thinking of a smaller book selection changed more regularly and I saw this idea Good Read Trough Book Caddy (Aqua) | The Land of Nod (http://www.landofnod.com/good-read-book-caddy-azure/f12250?t=6&a=185&bid=5628bid) . From USA so may build one (one day:rolleyes:)

I have Sling Bookcase with Rainbow Star Canvas - Rainbow Star Collection - Create a Look - gltc.co.uk (http://www.gltc.co.uk/sling-bookcase-with-rainbow-star-canvas/bookcases-bookshelves/gltc/fcp-product/10002212) in my playroom plus a basket of books that's gets moved around depending upon where we are playing/by the children.

I then also have a big bookcase in the sitting room with all the other childrens books in, that I choose books for the others from, plus the children can also access themselves. the books are spine on, which I know is not ideal for children to self select, which is why I have the other book case for everyday use.

I have one of the mobile libraries from vertbaudet. Its in my lounge so wanted a nice bit of furniture. Just right amount of room for books and hidden storage at back for clutter! They always have offers on too x
