I enjoyed reading this, some very interesting points - particularly the Finnish school bit. I don't know why our government ignores this research to follow America more and more!

I too enjoyed this post. This country is all about taking rights away from parents right now and telling us how we should be bringing up our children. You let your kids climb a tree outside the house while you go to the loo and wham, someone thinks your an unfit parent that doesnt care whether their child gets hurt or not and cant be bothered to watch them!
