IPPR latest research calls for all families to get help with childcare cost
They suggest the 15 hrs be extended to all 2 year olds while 3 and 4 year olds should get the 15 hrs over 48 weeks not 38 as at present.
Interesting but....while CMs could extend to 48 weeks how would a preschool or a school extend to 48 weeks?
This is quite thought provoking
also is there any hint that the funding for the 'subsidised' childcare would be increased and brought to a level that reflects all the qualifications they suggest the workforce should have and 'cost of delivering' the so much talked about 'high quality'??
What are your thoughts?
