Sorry to be a pain but can't find it on search

What are the years of the current Ofsted period where everyone needs to have been inspected?

I'm pretty sure the current cycle is September 2012- August 2016.

So if I was inspected June 2013 does that mean I won't be inspected until after 2016?

Correct, unless a complaint is made against you that initiates a visit

Ofsted have changed the way they inspect providers following a complaint

Some complaint will trigger an immediate inspection...according to the nature of the complaint
Other complaints will not trigger an inspection and the complaint will be dealt with by the inspector when the next inspection is due

Ofsted have made this decision public following the Ofsted Big Conversation meetings and articles have been published by Nursery World with interviews by Nick Hudson who is the Ofsted Director for Childminding

just out of interest then - if i was inspected in june 12 when is it likely I will be inspected again? I am giving up in Sept 14 but will remain registered for a period of time. I will be cutting back on the planning / observations I provide during holiday periods so in effect I hope I don't get ofsted in july / aug!

By rights, anytime up to the end of the current cycle.
If you have no children on role, you will be graded as met or unmet rather than a 1, 2, 3, or 4 grading
