I have 7 between 1 year and 12 on my books at the moment.

One just before school... two just after school... one before and after... 3 all day to teatime.

I have done all sorts of strange times though over the years, including working with an air hostess which was a nightmare of shift patterns.

I find it best to go with the flow - we're supposed to be more flexible than a nursery after all :D

I have:

B 2yrs..........1 day
G 17mths......full time
E 14mths......3 pms

and in Sept
A 10mths......full time

I have stayed away from before and after school and holiday cover. I just don't think it would work for me with my own 4 kids.
I love having my house full of little ones.

I don't have any afterschoolers, nor do I intend to as in Scotland they over 8s being disregarded in numbers doesn't apply. I am registered for 4 children under 16 at any one time. It really limits our earning opportunities! So I am only taking on littlies and when they go to school, buhbye! Unfortunately it means that parents find it very very very hard to find childcare for holidays and afterschool, but I cannot afford to have a place taken up by someone who might be here all day instead.

From September, I will have

G - 8 mths. 2 days (term time only)
J - 2 1/2 5 days (term time only)
O - 5 1/2 5 days (before and after school term time only)
E - 8 5 days (before and after school term time only)

I love it like this as I can spend the holidays with my kids, which is very important as Sam is away at Uni.

Ive just signed 2 almost 5 year olds (starting full time school so they count as over 5's) and a 6 year old, all of these are before and after school, which Im happy with, these left me the school hours to do what I want to do, clean, maybe cook dinner ready for that eveing etc, but I had a phone call for a 4 month old which I wasnt bothered getting, but did so I now had a lil one from 7-2 twice and week and the others before and after school till 6 which I think is quiet good!!!!!:clapping: :clapping:

so it looks like this

E (almost 5) before and after school (term time only)
D (almost 5) before and after school (term time only)
J (6 years) before and after school (term time only)
M (under 1 year)7 - 2pm twice a week.
