working hours

hi all,

if I have hours contracted and paid for, but the parent has said they do not need me to look after their child on a particular day, do I still put this down as working hours? i.e. for calculating against my expenses

I think it's usually only a matter of 10 minutes here or there so it's not going to make much difference ... you'll do the same back in overtime other days :D

thanks Sarah, I currently only have one child and its 16 hours a week, so would make a difference to me?

Hi I would say that if you are still being paid for that day then I would class it as a working day. I might be wrong there though! X
