Can anyone help me please im stuck on a question asking to list different types of continuing peofessional development?

Reading books on childcare issues.
Reading magazines from your professional association.
Talking/networking with other childcare practitioners (like us on the forum) :D

No worries.

I used to think CPD had to be limited to organised training courses. I then hit problems cos I'd done all the courses I could usefully do without both forking out a fortune and taking time off work, which costs me and seriously inconveniences my clients.

I can learn more from books than I ever can from a bored trainer who's clearly watching the clock until s/he can go home and never see me again. Don't know why I never worked that out sooner, as I learnt more from books as a child than I ever did from my 'teachers'. :rolleyes:
