I have seen somewhere on here but can't find it as PC won't let me search.....guidance on what to put into a reference...can anyone point me in right direction...seem to think it was page 17 of something..lol!!

Hi,

It is page 17 of the EYC form, section H.

References should include information on:

1) Referees name, address and telephone number

2) How long the referee has known you

3) The capacity in which the referee has known you

4) The present relationship between yourself and the referee

5) The referee's opinions of your ability to look after children under the age of five and your overall character/suitability and any other relevant information.

Also just to make you aware it cannot be a relative and they must have known you for 12 months or more.
