Hi, been thinking when I am finally registered what will I do re paperwork

I was thinking a 'register' to log times for mindees stays with me and a separate visitors book. Then having an A4 ring binder per child with their all about me statements, copy of contracts, daily diaries and obs - I was initially thinking diaries for each child but then storing obs etc would need to be seperate.

What does everyone else do?
Also have now applied for mine and hubby's DBS , how long roughly does ofsted take once I've Applied to them? Wondering whether to advertise now saying 'spaces from September'

Thanks

I have a parents information shelf for things like visitors book, attendance register, policies, a noticeboard above it for menu ...

I have shelving with my desk for essential daily documents... then a locked cupboard for sensitive paperwork.

Nobody knows how long the application process will take so while you can advertise that you are setting up, I wouldn't recommend putting a time frame on it until you are closer to the finish line.

Good luck with it all! :D
