Have a non sleeper at 12 months who slept the whole night for the first time last night then I put him down at 930 he is still asleep now at 1- I think I'm going to wake him.

What would you do?

In this case yes I would, he's had quite a long sleep and I would wake him so he doesn't miss his lunch.

I do prefer not to wake a child of any age but will if I have to for school runs or they need feeding.

I think I'd wake too after this long. And I'd also brace myself for whatever illness is the probable cause of the extra need for sleep!

Yes I was thinking illness- my daughter has just gone to sleep for her usual 2 hours so I'll have him solo for a while! Off I go xx

At the moment I'm trying to keep myself awake... 3 very hard weeks. Weeks like this make me want to pack it all in 2 X 2 year olds who NEVER get along screaming fighting hurting each other I have tried and getting nowhere but in a coma by Friday rant over

Never an issue here. We're never more than 20 minutes away from some complete selfish :censored:'s car/house alarm going off. Oh, the peace and quiet of rural England.

I love nap time, they all go down together for at least an hour up to 2 hours and I get a lunch break and time to sit down and chill!

My 5 year old had 3 hour naps til he was 2.5 and my 21 month old would too if there was time! I put him down straight after lunch and nursery run at 12.30 and wake him at 2.30pm to get him ready for the school run.
