I saw an idea on pinterest for mothers day of making chocolate cake in a terracotta flower pot and making the buttercream look like soil then sticking a straw in with a (child made) paper flower attached.

I need to do it today with one of my children but found out yesterday her mum has given up cake for lent!

Does anyone have any ideas for an alternative to the cake bit? I thought of mousse but LO might not be able to do much of the making.

Thanks!

Angel delight is a better idea

but I don't think angel delight 'lasts' or keeps for more than a few hours. i'm sure it either goes runny or thickens and goes yucky ( it doesn't last that long in our house! )

I think I would do a chocolate crispie cake. little could do lots of that.

very cute idea :D
