What a week!!

well i'm feeling extremely low today. this week has been awful. here's a run down:

my pp emailed to turn me down on wed

my pp who cancelled last week hasn't contacted me to rearrange

my 2 after school mindees gave notice

and i've just got a letter from neighbour giving notice for her s

end result - i now have no mindes at all!

don't know what i'm going to do!

Dont dispare these things have a way of turning themselves around.
Have a cheery cup of tea or something stronger seen as you have no mindee's today and then get back on the bike ready to ride again.
make your self a pro active list of things to do to get your children back.
make adverts for shops near you ect
contact health visitor/social services for respite care
advertise on the net
phone your local childminders group and see what is going around
Keep going and good luck
call this a holiday and then it wont seem so bad

I don't know if you remember me saying last week, but my friend lost all her mindees too. Since yesterday she now has 2 mindees for 3 days each and a full timer and has just had to turn down another full timer!!! Don't despair things can change very quickly.

yes sorry that's what we used to abbreviate them to when i worked in a private school!

Just got a call from pp to say she won't be rearranging as she no longer wants the space. Fantastic!

things can change very quickly though in a good way too, you are empty now, by end of the week you could be full, it's the fickle nature of the business I'm afraid
