I am so excited I just wanted to share my news with you guys!!

I FINALLY received my Ofsted certificate last Friday and I had my first parent visit today..they wanted their 2 yr old and 1yr old to come to me 2 days per week but she text me earlier to say that she liked me so much that they are cancelling the 'potential' nursery space and want me full time mon-fri 8am-5pm - i am OVER the moon!

I am so glad they didn't try to knock me down on price and were more interested on the activities I will provide. This has made the journey so far well worth it!!

She is coming back this week to sign contracts!

Sorry don't want to gloat! Just sharing some happy news :-) xx

I was really honest and just explained I was new and they would be my first parents! I gave them a spiral bound 'welcome pack' with all my policies, typical day, fees, etc, so they could take it away and have a read. I think a welcome pack makes you look very professional!

I also made myself a crib sheet of what I wanted to talk about-EYFS, Ofsted, dietary requirements, fees etc- looked at the 'parent interview tips' from childcare.co.uk-thanks sarah!!

I showed them around my home and as I was chatting to the parents I ensured I was on the children's level playing at the same time! Also offered a drink when they arrived.

I had deep cleaned my house and set up activities in my playroom-vtech car track and play doh on the table and the children loved it!!

Hope this helps :-)
