Looking for a co- minder. How do I go about it? Can a co-minder be registered at her address as well as mine so we can work together most of the time but if I'm ill then she can work from her own home. I would probably already have business for them so would ideally be someone that would be up and rubbing by the middle of next year.

Planning permission -do you need this if you exceed 6 or how many? I won't intend on taking after schoolers so will have 6 preschoolers is that ok?

What do people charge there co-minders if anything for working in there home as I would obviously provide all the toys, resources, food and electricity etc

Thanks

I pay my co worker £40 a month x

Is that for 5 days. I can offer then children/work for 2. The rest they would need to sort themselves. Basically 2 of my current parents are pregnant with seconds and I want one of my own so two days a week I would have three toddlers and 2 baby's. The other 2 days I would have four under continuity of care under rules of being a sibling and also another being my baby but I would happily not do this if they wanted more days if I could make it worth while or they could work from there own home the other days

And ten pound a week would barely cover food for three mindees over 5 days

We don't provide food, children bring packed lunch.. I pay my share of equipment and toiletries etc

Ah that's fair enough then I would be happy with that for other resources so would maybe charge per child for food so if they don't have so many on one day they don't pay for it

I'd put notices up in local playgroups and community centres, use social media too, Facebook, Twitter etc
