We are thinking of moving to a bigger house but have already applied to Ofsted to register as a childminder at my current address....does anyone know if I will have to re-register if we decide to move?

Thanks x

If you stay within England you can move your registration between addresses, OFSTED will register your new home, they may inspect it again or they may ask you to risk assess it and revise a certificate, there has been some debate about whether or not you can work at the new address before you get the certificate. It depends how far down the moving process you are when you are due your pre-reg if you are close to moving they will probably advise you do your pre-reg at the new house.

If you move to Wales or Scotland you would have to start registration again as they do not have OFSTED and have their own registering bodies (CSSIW in Wales and SCSWIS in Scotland).
