Poorly enough?

I have LO 2 yrs old, She's not been herself, not eaten and very teary.. Taken temp and given calpol... 1/2 hour later temp is 39.7.. What would you do???

I would send a child home with a temp that high, no question. Have you informed the parent?

Parent is a midwife and other works away!! Difficult situation! Will give a ring now...

How are you getting on?
I would def send home with a temp that high .... I know it's hard for working parents but would be hard for you if LO starts convulsing esp if you have another lo's to look after . It's also in the best interests of child to be home when that poorly .... Poor LO
