Which is better? Milton Keynes or Nottingham?

Never been to the Nottingham one, always use Milton Keynes, then a trip to the big Asda next door followed by a wonder upto the other shops near the football stadium, my only advice is don't go if MK Dons are playing as parking is a nightmare.

I hadn't even thought about lakeside! Just google mapped it and thats 2hrs 4mins away. Nottingham 2hrs 6mins and milton keynes 1hr 56mins.
The distribution centre in 10mins away from my house but there isn't a shop there. Also even though that's where they will be delivering from If I order online they calculate the delivery charge from the nearest store and will cost me £60! How stupid!

I am in Suffolk so think Wembley is probably in the middle too. So that's 3 stores and I've not been what is up with that!!! Xx

Is there really that big a difference between any of them?! I've been to 3 in this country plus one in Germany and they seemed very similar. You can check on their website if the store has what you want in stock so maybe go to whichever one has most of what you want?

I don't know what I want. Was planning on just turning up and seeing what took my fancy :)
I was thinking ikea may be a bit like tesco.... I have 3 within 15mins of my house 1 is rubbish, 2 are really good!
I'll see which is the easiest route :)

I have been to MK Wemberly and an Ikea in Hungary. It felt the exact same in each store. The layout and route through the store was almost the exact same and they sold all the same stuff. Only difference was I could understand even fewer words than normal in the Hungarian store.

So you haven't been to Ikea before? Has someone told you what it's like? I'd describe it as a cross between Argos, B&Q and a jumble sale!
