Hi
I am a child-minder who is currently studying for an MA in Early Childhood. I have also recently completed the new Early Years Teacher Course (Previously EYP)
I am currently doing research to enable me to write an essay on the concept of professionalism and continuous professional development in the early years workforce. I will be writing this from a childminders POV.
I am very interested in peoples opinions regarding this, what do you think of the term professional? How does this relate to our jobs? How does society view us?
Does anyone hold the Early Years Professional Status? Does this 'label' make you more 'professional?'
