Valentine's crafts

Hi guys just looking for some ideas for valentines crafts for a 2yr and 4 yr will deffinatly be making beat shaped biscuits.

We made some heart printed cards today I cut hearts out of potatoes they loved doing it.

I have brought a heart cake mould and we are doing jellys and cakes in it this week.

also just printed off so heart shapes from PreKinders to laminate and lace tomorrow and colours to test what they know and then we will play snap with them

I use a site called dltk for craft ideas, there are templates you can print too

we will be doing finger paint heart mobiles with the little ones
and toilet roll animals holding hearts with the school age children, there's loads of different animal templates even a Martian!

Last year I cut out lots of different sized and coloured heart. The children used these to make pictures- everything from hedgehogs to shoes! The boys really enjoyed it as 'hearts are girly and yuck' but because some were blue, green and black it was alright to use them.
