Hi saw this on one of the kiddy channels (beckys watching "wonder pets")

all you need is a big fizzy drinks bottle (empty)
compost
soft sand (kids play sand will do)
dry leaves

oh and worms (kids will love digging those up!!!!):clapping:  :clapping:

all you need to do cut the top off of the bottle and start adding layers of compost, sand and dry leaves and continue till you have at least 3 layers of each (or over half way).
once finished layering the compost etc add water (do not drown the mix) and then go out and dig up the worms to put in your wormary.

oh and when not being looked at, cover up ast they like the dark. also keep the soil moist.

will be interesting to do this will my lot when alls up and running!!!

Nice idea but I just can't deal with worms :( Couldn't even watch the kids handle them - just talking about them is giving me the heebie jeebies!!!!
