Ok lots of wishes, luck, fingers, legs and hair folicoles (?) crossed please....

I have just had a lady ring wanting childcare 1 day a week but in two sessions.:clapping: :clapping: whoooo

It will be for a 3 week old baby (baby is unborn at present) and 2.5yr old 10-2 and then in the evenings 4.15 to 9.15pm for the 2.5yr old and possibly her 5yr old, not sure about baby in the evening yet.
(She is on placement daytime and then college in the evening).

She is coming round Tuesday afternoon and I am now frantically trying to get my policies re-done (as dopey mare here mananged to overwrite them and having to redo from a paper copy). I have checked with hubs and he is cool with me minding till that time, I have pre-warned her that the fees will be higher after 6pm and that I have dogs.

Right so before you cross everything has anyone got any advice or tips please?

Sounds like it could be a reasonable earner for you Pip - even though it's only one day a week. To make the evening worthwhile (even though you will charge a higher rate) you could really do with getting 2/3 of the children rather than just one.

Is she a single parent? Will college be paying her childcare fees? If so you might not have to think about whether to give a sibling discount

Hope it works out for you

She said college are paying the fees. I am hoping and she sounded like she was moving towards me having 2 children in the evening.

goodness it feels like a lifetime since I done this!!!:D

In answer to my question - NO, she blooming well hasn't turned up.

Bless my neighbour - she has taken James to the end of toddler group summer beach party for me and the blinking woman hasn't turned up - or rung!!! :( There may well be a reasonable explanation but I'm not gonna hold my breath!

Oh well never mind back to the drawing board, well the waiting game.
