Safeguarding children - basic awareness online.

Hi Can anyone help , i am a childminder and need to do my safeguarding training course online my local authority courses are filled up and as i dont drive i thought about doing an online course which has proved trickier than i thought , i found one called "pacey" they are approved by ofsted but the said to check with my Local autority and when i did they said they hadn't of heard of them. Do any of you guys know of any online courses ?? xx

You'll have to go back to your LA, only they can tell you what online safeguarding courses they will approve. Pacey used to be NCMA, the professional body for childminders. There are a lot of online safeguarding courses but they are different levels and some are too basic to be your only safeguarding training.
