This job throws up rubbish for all of us at one time or another, so I've decided to help myself get through the "pants" moments by sorting my summer holiday 2014!!

It's Cape Verde. No more expensive than a decent All Inclusive to the Balearics!

That picture is so inviting.....but in reality my fair skin, my inability to enjoy really hot weather and sit still for very long means my poor DH never gets this sort of holiday.
We will probably be holidaying in Cumbria and the Alps, climbing and walking lots whilst improving our photography skills, staying in self catering because we love cooking, in the middle of no where because we seek isolation on our holidays....My friends say it is their worst idea of a holiday ....but thats what makes us all unique ....the different things we enjoy.
The couple in the picture look fairly isolated though and the sea in the background.......
Perhaps my challenge for 2014 will be to experience a holiday like this!

We went to cape verde at the end of nov beginning of dec in 2009, it was fab we stayed on Sal and the weather was fantastic their favorite saying there was No Stress, how right they were it was so restful and we only say about 6 children the whole 2 weeks. Have a great time :)
