I am a member of pacey do I have to use their contracts to be covered if needed legal advice, I would like to change to the contracts on childcare.co.UK site.

Yes you have to use PACEY contracts to be covered by their insurance.

Thanks.... How do childminders get on that use their own drawn up contracts or childcare.co.uk ones do they get insurance from other companies?

Do you mean you PLI? I don't see the link really between using a Pacey contract and PLI via Pacey...?

I thought it was more to do with using Pacey legal advise that you had to use Pacey contracts because they will only legally support contracts provided by themselves.

?

Morten Michel allow you to use your own contracts, other companies do as well, but with PACEY you must use thir contracts

As Moggy says to be fully covered by their legal protection in the event of a non-paying parent Pacey require you to use their contracts. They will still offer you legal advice even if you do not use their contracts.

You are still covered for PLI whether you use their contracts or not.

MM and other insurers allow you to use any legally worded contract.
