Recommendations for battery powered lanterns?

Recent weather has prompted me to get more prepared in case of power cuts.

I know nothing about battery powered lanterns, so if anyone could point me in the direction of a good brand/ model, that would be great, thanks :)

Aldi had some on offer a couple of weeks ago and I know they had a three year guarentee. You might still find some in one of their stores.

I bought a couple a few years ago. They are wind up or car cigarette lighter thingy. The light is not brilliant, maybe equivalent to one or two candles. They cost about a tenner each .
