Hi, just wanted to know if you have to show OFSTED on the first visit that you do have a pushchair and highchair and other baby related things.
I've already got rid of the ones i used to have for my two girls.
Can't i just buy them once i've got a mindee?

No Ofsted don't expect you to have it all in place at pre reg.

Just make a list of the things you are planning to get.

I didn't have anything when I registered. Now my house is full of travel cots, highchairs and buggies!!!!

When are they coming out to see you ?

Like mentioned just write a list of what you plan to get you are not expected to have equipment you would be better to concentrate on cheaper items like safety gates and locks
Although if your area gives you a grant you could put them on your wish list

I am lucky enough to have parents that bring their buggies with them and leave them here so I have not ever had to buy one

Travel cot - I do not always use one my children sleep on the sofa with a clean sheet

You dont want to go and waste money at the moment on things that you may not need yet - you might also get older children to mind first

Good luck with your pre - reg
