Well tomorrow is my last day at the most awful nannying job I have ever had! Wahoooo!!

Quick question. This is my first year as a self employed nanny and As it is my last day tomorrow, when do I do my tax return, do I still do it in April? ( must seem a stupid question to a lot of you) Does anyone have a rough calculation of what amount I'm looking at? I'm slightly worried at the amount I'm going to owe!!

Thank god I'm going back into employment, I can't handle the uncertainty of self employment!!

You will need to do your self assessment in April :-) I don't know where but I think there is a tax estimate calculator on the hmrc website.
