My mind has gone blank! Photo of mindee (23 months) threading a string through a spool. All I can think of is 'fine motor control' Nothing else seems to fit. Aarghh!

I'd just mark that Obs with PD, and PSED possibly. And CofEL 'Active Learning' if she was concentrating and keeping on trying.

Expressive arts & design - exploring and using media and materials - surely threading is exploring materials - under an older age category it states uses various contruction materials, beginning to construct, realises tools can be used for a purpose - next steps could be threading cards.
