I'm working my notice in my job and want to start advertising so by mid Feb I have at least 1 mindee, where do I advertise?!

Get yourself a free profile on childcare.co.uk - you can message gold members and reply to messages from them. You can also upgrade which allows you to message any parent and they can message you.
Type 'childminder' into google and get yourself on the websites on the first page, as a lot if parents will type just that when they are looking.
Give your details to your Family Information Service and pester them. Your name will go to e top of the list when you contact them.
Word of mouth is important. Try and get yourself noticed in the local community. Important for me being a male childminder that parents get to know me.
Go to childminding groups. We pass on enquiries we can't take on to each other.
You can also try advertising in post offices and leaflet dropping etc
