Hi all, Can I ask you all how you word your notice letters, I am clueless lol... this will be my first time giving notice.. I took on some after school children on and it is just not working out, not been paid by the parent and I don't see why I should keep asking for money as I don't like doing it, I would just rather them gone I don't need the stress for a few quid each week xx

Dear X
It is with regret that l am serving notice for the after school care of xxx, notice will take effect from today and the last day of care will be ........(fill in what ever your notice period is).

You do not have to give a reason but you could say that going to school each day or older children in the house is not working for you. Do you know of any other childminders who go to that school who would take over from you.
