Hello everyone,
I am looking into starting up as a childminder. I am currently an assistant to a friend who is established in childminding but I'm eager to start up on my own.
I was wondering what insurers are the most popular to use. I was thinking Morton Michel seemed like a good one to use with the whole package including paperwork.
Im am also unsure about the qualifications needed. I have a NVQ level 3 in health and social care -children and young people. Am I right in thinking that once I have completed the briefing and EYFS course through the LA I am qualified enough to do the childminding?
Thankyou, I would appreciate any advice given!
