Although I've been popping on to the forum regularly to read posts (which I have found sooooo helpful!) this is my first post.
Basically I have now finished my CYPOP5 course (just waiting for my certificate to come through) and I've done my pediatric first aid course. I was just about to apply to Ofsted when I was asked about working as a nanny until next July. I would still need to be a registered nanny though as they would need to receive help for childcare costs. My question is is my CYPOP5 qualification sufficient to register on the voluntary register? Also I had an enhanced CRB check done in Feb as I was working as a home carer for the elderly....would Ofsted accept that or will I have to pay again? I assume that I would be able to apply to register to become a childminder next year sometime for when this temp position ends.
Any other info or advice you can offer would be greatly appreciate!
