If anyone is looking for a new menu idea our local Lidl was selling diced reindeer as part of its deluxe Christmas range today. I'm sure the kids would love some Rudolph Stew on Christmas Eve!!

Really? I wonder what it's like. After the horse meat scandal I wonder if we've eaten it before but not been aware of it!

I am tempted to try it - and not tell the kids what it is. Probably just mine though not the mindees! I love venison and have regularly served venison sausages to all the children. They're really tasty and naturally lower in fat. Dh came up with Another option - serve it up for Christmas dinner and say "look what we caught last night!" Just as well my children are older!!:-P
